Honda recently launched the 5th generation of Honda City in Indian market with a very good package. Honda is also continuing to sell the 4th City with the new one for some reasons but the new city offers a lot. From the base variant itself the new city gets all the necessary features like a infotainment screen, cruise control, safety features, alloys , automatic climate control etc which is pretty good. New City is powered by a 1.5L Diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual only and a 1.5L I-VTEC petrol engine mated to a 6-speed Manual and a CVT gearbox. But no car is perfect, so here are some pros and cons of 2021 Honda City.

1. SPACIOUS INTERIOR- The Honda city offers the best space inside the cabin after the Maruti Suzuki ciaz in the segment. The front and rear seats are comfortable and offers good amount of space. The rear seats offer good amount of leg room and headroom for people with the height of 5,8 to 5,9. People with 6.0 foot will struggle with headroom a bit. But overall the cabin is spacious and airy.

2. FEATURES- 5th generation Honda City is loaded
with Ton of features and some interesting features are, Alexa connectivity, digital instrument cluster, left side blind spot monitoring camera , remote engine start/stop, electric sunroof, ambient lighting, Honda connectivity with 32 features and google assistant support and etc.
3. RIDE QUALITY- The new city offers very good ride quality out in road. It is comfortable and smooth on roads and high speed stability is also good.

1. NO DIESEL AUTOMATIC- City’s younger siblings amaze gets a CVT gearbox with diesel but somehow they don’t offer a automatic gearbox with Honda city diesel which is shocking. The demand of diesel and automatic combo is high in the segment and Honda should definitely launch the city with a automatic transmission.

2. CABIN NOISE- The overall insulation on the new Honda City is not that impressive. You can hear a lot of road and tyre noise inside the cabin as compare to rivals and even the last city was also better in terms of overall insulation.

3. TYRE SIZE- Honda city comes stock with 185/55R15 tyres for the lower trims and 185/55R16 tyre size for top trim. The width of the tyre is not suitable for this vehicle. It looks too narrow for the vehicle. The overall grip of the tyres is also not that great and I will recommend you to get these changes right after taking delivery. This is what I also did with my 4th generation city. Changed the tyres right after taking delivery.
