Tata launch the Altroz last year last year to rival Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno , Honda jazz and VW polo. ALTROZ is offered with 3 engines options. A 1.5L diesel, a 1.2L 2-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.2al 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. ALTROZ offers a good overall package and here are some pros and cons of this premium hatch.

  1. SAFETY- Tata ALTROZ scored a perfect 5 stars in global NCAP crash test which makes it the safest vehicle in the segment.
  2. DRIVABILITY- Driving ALTROZ in the city is really easy. The steering is light and clutch is also smooth and light to operate.
  3. FEATURES- ALTROZ is loaded with all the latest features that a customer need in a vehicle. Not as loaded as the new I20 but still it offers everything you need.
  4. DESIGN- ALTROZ looks stunning. It is the best looking hatch in the segment without a doubt. The road presence of ALTROZ is also pretty good.
  5. HIGH SPEED STABILITY- ALTROZ is really stable qt the higher speeds. It feels solid to drive as well.

  1. ENGINES- The Diesel engine from the ALTROZ is the only one which offers good performance where the 1.2L naturally aspirated one feels dull. The petrol is decent but don’t offer much power where the 1.2L I-turbo offers good performance but it’s not the best.
  2. NO AUTOMATIC OM OFFER- Tata haven’t launched the ALTROZ with a automatic transmission which is shocking because the demand for automatic is really good in this segment.
  3. FIT AND FINISH- The materials used inside the cabin of the ALTROZ is good but the fit and finish could have been better for sure.
