Hyundai launched the 4th gen I20 last year which some crazy packaging. Let me tell you the pros and cons of the brand new I20. PROS-
1. LOADED WITH FEATURES- From the 1st generation, The I20 is known for offering the best features in the segment. The new I20 is a big step up from it’s pricier. You get features like a electric Sunroof, connected car tech, digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, 10.25 ich infotainment system with apple carplay and android auto, ambient lighting etc. 2. EASY TO DRIVE- The latest i20 is really easy to drive. The steering is light and clutch is effortless to use. You can easily drive this vehicle in crowded areas.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION OPTIONS- Hyundai I20 is offered with 3 engine options and all 3 engine options comes with IMT, MANUAL (except the turbo engine) AND AUTOMATIC ( except diesel engine) gearbox. You can find the perfect combination of engine and transmission which suits you.
CONS- 1. NO AUTOMATIC FOR DIESEL AND MANUAL FOR TURBO PETROL- The I20 does offers a lot of transmission options with all 3 engines but the diesel don’t get a automatic gearbox which should have been offered as it is in high demand. The turbo is amazing in terms of performance but it doesn’t come with a proper manual transmission which has to be there for enthusiast. 2. THE INTERIOR- The quality of the interior should have been improved as compare to last gen model. The interior on the latest I20 is all black. Which looks plain and simple. Hyundai should have offered a dual tone interior with the vehicle for its price . 3. PRICES- The prices of the 4th gen I20 is simply overpriced. It starts from Rs-8.01L ( on road Mumbai) to Rs-13.29L for top trim ( on road Mumbai). A hatchback at this price point doesn’t make sense when you can get a sub 4M or the base variants of Korean siblings which may not offers ton of features but in terms of space and comfort they are better. Hyundai missed the pricing. Other then that it’s a good product to buy.
